Danone North America is looking for aLearning Director in Broomfield, CO.

The Learning Director is responsible for co-creating and delivering learning strategies and programs that support the strategic business objectives of the CBU. The Learning Director determines effective learning strategies for the organization through comprehensive understanding of business needs. The Learning Director leverages Group/Region learning solutions, top external solutions, and designs and develops content for their client in the NORAM cluster. In close partnership with the CBUs, the Learning Director facilitates and analyzes learning programs aligned to the learning priorities and competency development needs of the Business Units. It is also critical that the Learning Director engage in proactive stakeholder management to ensure clear alignment with organizational leaders on all priorities.

Key Accountabilities:

Support Transversal and Functional Learning
  • The Learning Director owns and drives the definition, execution, and measurement of Topline (Sales, Marketing, and R&I) learning strategies addressing transversal and functional employee capabilities
  • Leverage strong business and learning acumen to understand the strategies and needs of the business to ensure the design impactful learning strategies annually and year over year for Topline clients
  • Evaluate, make recommendations, and own the execution of individual learning solutions to address defined needs for client groups in demonstrable ways
  • Work with cross functional partners to develop and appropriately market Danone programs to appropriate client groups
  • Develop or modify content as required by client group to ensure maximum value and adoption
  • Maintain certifications in appropriate content in order to facilitate sessions and programs (examples: Insights for Discovery,
  • Deliver leadership competency training to develop Danone leaders of today and tomorrow
  • Help nurture a learning culture within the NORAM CBU via learning programming, interventions and effective communications
  • Research and introduce relevant new innovative solutions to excite, empower, and engage learners in their own learning journeys
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and client functional leaders to increase awareness and adoption of Danone technical and functional learning solutions and competencies
  • Drive technical/ functional learning campaigns with client groups


Team Effectiveness / Organizational Development
  • Work with client groups to diagnose team challenges and opportunities to increase levels of team performance
  • Design, develop, and deliver/facilitate solutions driving high levels of team effectiveness and addressing team challenges and constraints
  • Architect long term programs in partnership with HRBPS which create sustained and measurable team effectiveness growth


Learning Technologies
  • Administer as needed in the Learning Management System (LMS) to manage and measure learning solutions
  • Maintain knowledge of learning technologies leveraged by Danone (EdCast, Cornerstone, Ceridian, LinkedIn Learning, Get Abstract
  • Support reporting to client groups and at the global level as needed


Qualifications and Requirements

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree strongly preferred
  • Relevant content areas include: Learning and Development, Organizational Development, or Industrial Organizational Psychology preferred but not required


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Experience developing and managing functional learning solutions, with acumen in Sales, Marketing and R&I in particular
  • Strong business acumen; able to understand the company's business model, goals, financial and organizational data to build the business case for learning and demonstrate return on investment
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal partners and effectively influence decisions held by others
  • Ability to navigate and succeed independently in a matrixed environment
  • Ability to demonstrate confidence and courage in learning decisions
  • Content design, development and evaluation
  • Learning, gap, and needs analysis including recommendations for solutions
  • Facilitation in a variety of contexts and with a focus on senior executives
  • Comfortable acting as a challenger to the business to find the best solutions to achieve necessary organizational development
  • Strong project management and unwavering drive for demonstrable results required
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of facilitation experience
  • Overnight travel estimated at 25% standard with times of up to 50% based on client groups, global programming, and other learning needs across NORAM
